PLAY A BABY DRUM!!!

Hello everyone!
We are gong to make a little toy: a ruttle - drum for babies!

This toy is made up of small parts...I suggest to close and seal the cylindrical container using glue and stitch the fabric parts well in order to obtain a clean surface.

WHAT YOU NEED: a cylindrical box, a marker, a meter.

I cut the box in two parts to make it smaller...

...and I made some cuts to reduce the circumference a bit.

I inserted the lower part into the upper one and sticked them together.

I filled it with bottle caps...

...and close the box using glue.

I coverd the box with pile fabric to make the toy softer.

I used old shirts and an old jumper to cover the box.

I made a rim and inserted a  pantyhose strip...

I pulled the strip to close the cilinder's bottom base.

I wove pantyhose strips into a plate and i stiched it to the drum's upper base. I made a bow with pantyhose strips.

DONE! READY TO BE SHAKEN AND PLAYED!

A baby chiken among the baby clouds!

Welcome to another craft about new born baby!
Let's recycle old denim jeanses end old shirts!

I made the nursery decor using old denim jeanses, an old shirt, colored buttons and a piece of pile fabric.

I made the patterns cutting out some cardboards...

...and I cut the fabbric shapes.

I used the buttons to make a baby face with a  pacifier, I made the cheeks using the denim fabric.

I overlapped the front and the back parts...

...and after sewed together I filled it as a pillow...recycling fabric offcuts.

I made the ballon reusing an old shirt.

WELCOME LITTLE NEW BORN BABY!

Hello...
...are you looking for ideas for new born baby party favors?
I suggest you to recycle old denim jeanses...

...add colored buttons, cotton yarn for knitting, a piece of pile fabric.

OTHER MATERIALS YOU NEED:
a cardboard, a needle large eye, a tailor's chalk.

I cut the patterns. The back is composed by two parts a little overlapped to make a sort of pocket.

I made three shapes: the cloud, the half moon and the star.

By the tailor's chalk I marked the front and back shapes...

...and I pinned the back pieces.

With the colored button i tried to create a funny face...

...and I pinned the back to the front piece.

I sewed them with the cotton yarn and added a sattin ribbon to decorate them.

And now you can add the sweet part you prefer.

WELCOME SWEET BABIES!

DECORATING DENIM JEANS!

TIRED OF YOUR ORDINARY DENIM JEANS??
obviously it's no time to throw it away yet!

I'll show you an idea to make your plain denim jeans fancier and more useful!

WHAT YOU NEED:
a denin jeans, another fabric you like, colored buttons, needles, thread and a sewing machine.

LET'S START!

I replaced the waistband, the belt loops and the top button.
I added other buttons to decorate the waistbelt also allowing to adjust a bit to the size.

I replaced one back pocket...

...and I dislocated it a little bit. I just removed  the other back pocket.

I ripped  the denim on one knee and sewed a patch on the inside.

I added two peices of fabric as legs cuffs...

...and decorated the hems with colored buttons and a buttonhole.

I like to make cuffs...it helps fitting the lenght of a jeans to different shoes.

denim placemats!

It's time to sit at table and enjoy your meal...
...breakfast, lunch, dinner...or easly a snack!
Maybe you'll need a placemat.
Why don't recycle an old denim jeans?!

WHAT YOU NEED:  one denim jeans, another fabric piece you like, cotton thread.

I unstitched the back pockets.

I cut both pants legs.

I cut out the ruined parts...

..and I opened the legs to make two placemats.

I cut two pieces of chequered fabric some bigger centimetres than denim pieces.

I sewed the pocket on denim and I used a chequered fabric for the back of the placemat.

I make two little napkins by the chequered fabric...

...AND VOILA'! ENJOY YOUR MEAL!
